NEW YORK STATE COURT OFFICERS AND
NEW YORK STATE SUPREME COURT OFFICERS ASSOCIATIONS ENDORSE DAN DONOVAN FOR CONGRESS
“Dan Donovan Stands with the Men and Women in Uniform”
Staten Island, NY–May 31st…Citing his record delivering results and commitment to the men and women of the law enforcement community, the New York State Court Officers and New York State Supreme Court Officers Association today endorsed Dan Donovan for Congress.
This latest endorsement comes on the heels of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and various labor unions also announcing their support. Donovan is the endorsed candidate of the Republican Conservative, Independence and Reform Parties, as well as all of the district’s Republican elected officials.
“Any New Yorker who puts on a uniform every day can know that Dan Donovan has been a fierce supporter fighting for them in Washington and delivering results,” said Dennis Quirk, President of the NYS Court Officers Association. “As our former District Attorney where he had the highest felony conviction rate in the city, he brought that same law-and-order approach to Congress where he is working to ensure law enforcement has the tools they need to do their jobs to keep our community safe. We’re proud to stand behind him the way he’s stood behind us.”
“Dan has spent his entire professional career as a champion for law enforcement,” said Patrick Cullen, President of the NYS Supreme Court Officers Association. “We couldn’t ask for a better advocate representing us, and we’re thrilled to come together to endorse him for reelection. Dan is one of us, and he’s made us proud–we need to keep him fighting for us in Washington.”
“It was an honor to work alongside our court officers while I served as District Attorney, and that experience has given me a unique understanding of the job they have to do,” said Congressman Donovan. “I’ve taken that fight to Congress where they deserve someone fighting for them who understands the sacrifices they make to keep us safe. We are on the way to restoring law-and-order to our nation.”
