Quartet of Influential Ballot Lines Shows Depth and Breadth of Support
Congressman Dan Donovan was today endorsed by the State Independence Party, making this the fourth Party endorsement in recent weeks. He was previously endorsed by the Staten Island GOP, the Reform Party and the Conservative party, and will appear on all four ballot lines in the 2018 election.
“The Richmond County Independence Party is proud to endorse Dan Donovan as a pragmatic voice in behalf of the people of Staten Island and South Brooklyn,” said Avi Gvili, Staten Island Independence Party Chairman. “Whether it was his work to finally secure Zadroga benefits for our 9/11 families, his fight against the opioid epidemic or his significant FEMA reform to help Sandy victims, Dan has always found a way to rise above the Washington gridlock to deliver results. He is a strong and effective leader for our community.”
“I’ve always prided myself on being an independent voice who puts the people I represent over Washington’s special interests,” said Congressman Donovan. “Finding solutions to the problems we face is what public service is all about, and I have proven that I’ll work with anyone if it means delivering results for our community. I’m grateful to the Independence Party for recognizing my commitment to always put the people of Staten Island and South Brooklyn before politics.”
